Today we’re doing a full body stretch and tone workout without equipment.
Not only will you get the benefits of a strong, toned body, but you’ll also increase your mobility and flexibility all in one workout.
This workout also feels really good too.
I think there’s this horrible misconception that if exercise is going to help you get firm and fit, you’ve got to do huff and puff workouts, or push yourself to a point where you feel too sore and too achy to do anything for the rest of your day (or even your week),
But I want to show you how you can fall in love with fitness. How you can finally find a workout that gets you the results you deserve while feeling really good too.
When you enjoy the feeling of getting fit, and exercise becomes fun, that’s when you never want to miss a workout.
This can now officially become a small moment of enjoyable YOU time!
There’s one more amazing benefit to this stretch and tone workout, it’ll also help improve your balance.
The one leg exercises and split leg lunges ask the stabilizer muscles surrounding your joints to take control of the movements.
This has the potential to alleviate knee pain and turns wobbly movements into strong powerful, never waiver sensations.
Besides, balance creates a fun internal challenge. Try to beat your own time of how long you can stand on one leg.
Not only is this a great way for you to get fit, but over fifty your ability to balance will drastically improve your quality of life.
Your ability to balance is a must to reduce your risk of falls associated with aging.
While you don’t need any fitness equipment for this workout,
Grab a chair, or do the workout next to your sofa, so you can grab on if you need a bit of balance support.
If you’re really tight during the stretches, you may want to hold to the chair anyways. This gives you the stability to deepen the stretch (I show you how to do that in the workout)
So what are you waiting for! It’s time to increase your mobility, your flexibility and firm and define all in one quick fit workout.
Let’s get Started!
